Black Bear Chalet
The Black Bear Chalet is located on the ski resort mountain and is your opportunity to experience the beautiful surroundings of Fernie, British Columbia, Canada. Known for its phenomenal skiing, Fernie has also grown to be a year round recreation site. Whether it is skiing on the 875 cm (that's almost 27 feet) of snow that Fernie gets yearly or enjoying a river raft or golf game at one of the five nearby courses. Fernie has it all!
Our log chalet is top quality throughout. With amenities like room to sleep 14 people comfortably, five bathrooms, a large outdoor hot tub, BBQ, fully-equipped kitchen and a vaulted great room with wood-burning fireplace, we are sure you will enjoy your stay.

Upon arriving to the Black Bear Chalet we were immediately impressed with its rustic,cozy charm. Bedroom accommodations were quite comfortable and well-kept, large kitchen was great for cooking meals, entertaining and the fireplace was a nice touch with plenty of good firewood. Our favourite part was the short walk to the ski hill and the hot tub nestled underneath the cedars apres ski. Lana was awesome to deal with and we would definitely recommend this property.
